These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CutTime websites, demos, and the CutTime platform (collectively, the "Service"). CutTime is a product powered by LinkUp. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
CutTime provides booking and business tools for barbers and related shops, including marketing pages, typed product versions, live demos, and tenant shops. Features may vary by plan, version, or configuration. We may update, add, or remove features as the product evolves.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping account credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account or shop, including actions by staff you authorize.
3. Shop operators and customers
If you operate a shop on CutTime, you are responsible for your business content, services, pricing, policies, customer communications, and compliance with applicable laws (including consumer, privacy, and marketing rules). If you book as a customer of a shop, that shop’s own policies may also apply to the appointment and services you receive.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems, data, or other shops’ accounts
- Upload malware or content that infringes others’ rights or is abusive
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or the nature of your business
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse demos or the platform except as allowed by law
5. Demos and marketing site
Public demo tenants are for evaluation and showcase purposes. Demo content may be reset or changed at any time and should not be treated as a production business. Marketing copy describes intended capabilities and may not reflect every configuration or region.
6. Fees and payments
Paid plans, add-ons, or payment processing (if enabled for your shop) are subject to the pricing and payment terms presented at purchase or in your account. Third-party payment providers have their own terms. Taxes may apply. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
7. Intellectual property
CutTime, LinkUp, and our licensors own the Service, branding, software, and related materials. You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Service. You must have the rights to any content you submit.
8. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Third-party services
The Service may integrate with third-party tools (for example payments, maps, email, or messaging). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that demos or marketing statements will match every production configuration.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CUTTIME AND LINKUP WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR, IF NONE, ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS).
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify CutTime and LinkUp against claims arising from your content, your shop’s operations, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or fail to pay fees when due. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive termination.
14. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
